Enhanced Overview of the itc Simultaneous Interpretation System
The itc Simultaneous Interpretation System is a multilingual simultaneous interpretation system independently developed, manufactured and engineered by itc that translates the speaker's original voice into other languages in real time.
More information
The itc simultaneous interpretation system uses fully digital modulation and demodulation technology. Without interrupting the speaker, the original target language is translated. The translated language is transmitted via infrared signals inside the room, and delegates can select their preferred language via headphones.
Possibilities of the conference Simultaneous Interpretation System
Direct and indirect translation
The system has both direct and indirect translation capabilities. Direct translation involves translators directly translating the original voice into a pre-defined language, while indirect translation involves translating the understood language into an additional (or multiple) language.
Speech time
Administrators/secretaries can set the display to show the speaking duration (the time the microphone is active, which can be used for time billing).
Predictive mode
The same channel of different interpreter units in the same room can be blocked, and at the same time the interpreter unit occupying the channel will be closed. If different channels are displaced, a warning will appear.
Lockout Mode
The system includes a lockout mode that prevents other translation units from opening when the unit's microphone is already active in a particular language, ensuring consistency between channels and languages.
Independent audio monitoring
With independent volume control, the translation control unit can monitor each channel and live language.
Instant message alerts
In case of unexpected events, messages can be sent to warn and inform.
Call and technical support
Each interpreting station has a dedicated channel to call the chairman or technical specialist for assistance. Interpreters may request:
(1) Cough suppression to prevent the cough sound from being transmitted.
(2) Slow speech (SLOW) to ask the speaker to slow down if he or she is speaking too fast.
Tea Usage
The translator's remote control supports the tea dispensing function, which is carried out via the tea dispensing button.
System characteristics
Multilingual Simultaneous Interpretation
Supports 8-channel, 16-channel and other multilingual simultaneous interpretation functions, capable of interpreting 64 different languages.
High Privacy
Uses all-digital DQPSK modulation technology, ensuring high privacy.
Low Latency
Uses original clock synchronization and transmission technology, ensuring audio latency of less than 5ms.
Humanized Services
Includes functions such as instant messaging, cough suppression, drink requests and speech slowdown, meeting a wide range of field application needs.
Application Scenarios
Applicable to international conferences of various sizes, multilingual education, diplomacy, negotiations, business events, media, training, broadcasting, international arbitration and many other fields.
